If something published here is wrong or out of date, tell us. This subject changes frequently and we would rather be corrected than be stale.

Editorial correction practices can be compared with the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics.

Useful to include: the page, what is wrong, and a source if you have one. We fix errors and note the change on the page.

Questions about articles

We cannot give legal advice or answer questions about a specific situation. Articles touching law say where an individual answer comes from — employment counsel, and in some cases a state agency.

What we can do is point you at the right article, or tell you honestly that we have not written one.
